Clear and fair terms governing your use of BookMySerial digital OPD queue reservations.
Medical Emergency Notice: BookMySerial Is Not For Emergencies
BookMySerial manages outpatient queue numbers only. We do not provide emergency services, medical advice, or ambulance facilities. In case of acute trauma, chest pain, or emergency, immediately call 112 / 102 or proceed to the nearest hospital emergency room.
Platform Summary: How BookMySerial Operates
BookMySerial is a healthcare technology platform, not a hospital. We do not employ doctors or provide medical consultations. We provide digital serial tokens and live queue counters for a flat ₹10 convenience fee.

🤝1. Acceptance
By creating an account, reserving a serial token, or browsing BookMySerial, you agree to these Terms.
- These Terms apply to all visitors, patients, clinic staff, and doctors.
- If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue using the platform.
- We may update these terms periodically; your continued use confirms acceptance of changes.
🏢2. Nature of Platform
BookMySerial is an independent technology service connecting patients with medical clinics.
- We do not own, manage, or operate medical clinics or consultation chambers.
- Doctors listed on the platform are independent professionals, not employees of BookMySerial.
- All medical diagnoses, prescriptions, and healthcare advice are the sole responsibility of the attending doctor.
💳3. ₹10 Convenience Fee
The ₹10 fee charged during booking is strictly BookMySerial's digital platform fee.
Important clarification: The ₹10 charge is NOT the doctor's consultation fee. It covers digital token allocation, cloud queue hosting, and real-time SMS updates.
💡Clear Payment Example
You only pay ₹10 online to book your serial. The doctor's consultation fee (e.g. ₹500) is paid directly to the clinic receptionist when you arrive.
🔢4. Digital Queue Rules
Online bookings and clinic walk-in patients are unified into a single sequential queue.
- Tokens are issued in sequential order (#1, #2, #3, etc.) on a fair first-come basis.
- Please arrive at the clinic reception 15 minutes before your estimated consultation time.
- If you arrive after your token number has passed, the receptionist will slot you into the next available gap.
- Digital serial tokens are non-transferable and can only be used by the named patient.
⏱5. Estimated Time Disclaimer
Consultation timings displayed on the screen are intelligent estimates, not exact guarantees.
- Doctor consultation time varies depending on the clinical severity of patients ahead of you.
- Emergency cases or sudden surgical procedures at nearby hospitals may introduce unexpected delays.
- Check your live tracking screen periodically to track current serving token movements.
🔄6. Cancellation & Refund
We provide a 100% automatic refund whenever an OPD session is cancelled by the doctor or clinic.
✅Automatic Session Cancellation Refund
If the doctor is on emergency leave or the clinic cancels the session, your ₹10 fee is automatically refunded to your original UPI or payment source within 24–48 hours.
- Online bookings are confirmed reservations and cannot be self-cancelled once the queue begins.
- If you cannot attend, notify the clinic receptionist so another waiting patient may be accommodated.
👤7. User Responsibilities
Patients and clinic staff are expected to provide truthful information and maintain decorum.
- Provide a correct 10-digit mobile number so you receive token updates and OTP verifications.
- Carry any past medical files, prescription slips, or scan reports directly to the clinic.
- Treat clinic receptionists, nursing staff, and fellow waiting patients with courtesy.
🚫8. Prohibited Activities
Misuse of queue numbers or platform infrastructure is strictly prohibited.
- You may not resell, hoard, or scalp serial tokens to other individuals.
- You may not use bots, automated scripts, or fake phone numbers to book slots.
- Any account found engaging in abusive or fraudulent behavior will be permanently suspended.
🛡9. Limitation of Liability
BookMySerial is a software facilitator and is not liable for medical care or clinical outcomes.
- We are not responsible for the quality, outcome, or accuracy of any medical treatment.
- We are not liable for traffic delays, clinical wait times, or unforeseen chamber schedule changes.
- Our maximum financial liability is strictly limited to the ₹10 platform fee paid for the specific booking.
⚖️10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
- Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in West Bengal, India.
